Public app

Dadurday!

Families want to spend more time together and less time choosing what to do. Lighthearts built Dadurday! to turn activity ideas into a board you can roll and play.

The need

Families needed an easy, enjoyable way to choose something to do together and keep good ideas ready for another day.

The people it serves: Families seeking structured, fun decision-making tools for weekend activity planning.

The challenge

Family weekend planning frequently leads to decision paralysis and debate over open-ended options.

Lighthearts’ solution

Lighthearts designed and built a shared family activity board that turns ideas into a dice game. Families organize their own activities, roll for a choice, and keep a journal of what they’ve done.

Start with the family’s own ideas

Custom categories, activity suggestions, and one-time or repeatable choices let families build a board that fits their routines.

Make choosing part of the activity

Two dice select a category and an activity. The result stays visible with clear controls for completing it or rolling again; physical dice are also supported.

Keep the board useful over time

Shared accounts, priorities, progress resets, and the completion journal connect a playful choice with ongoing family use.

Execution and delivery

Lighthearts developed the activity model, board interface, dice experience, shared family accounts, and completion journal, then released Dadurday! as a public app. Families can create an account, build their own activity boards, and use the dice to choose what to do next.

Current status

Fill a board with real possibilities—from scavenger hunts to sidewalk chalk—then keep one-time ideas and repeatable favorites organized together.
  1. Create or join your family and fill your board with a few activities you’d enjoy.
  2. Open Roll and let the dice pick, or browse the board together.
  3. Do the activity, mark it complete, and keep your next round ready for another day.
