A Lighthearts solution
Public regional platformTech Forward Readiness Dashboard
Employers need help making sense of technology readiness and regional support. Lighthearts built a public assessment and planning platform to connect those decisions.

The need
West Valley employers needed an accessible way to understand their technology readiness and connect their next decisions with regional training and support.
The people it serves: Employers, economic development practitioners, municipal leaders, and regional workforce partners.
The challenge
Employers and small businesses want to adopt modern digital tools and technology, but often lack a structured way to evaluate readiness, prioritize investments, and connect with regional support.
Lighthearts’ solution
Lighthearts designed and built a public assessment and planning platform that connects regional findings, a readiness reflection, technology exploration, and training resources in one experience.
Give readiness a usable structure
A guided assessment organizes questions about digital practices, operations, information, and capacity into feedback employers can use to identify priorities.
Connect findings to business choices
Technology exploration brings sector examples and operational uses alongside regional findings so visitors can connect the evidence with their own work.
Keep support within reach
The platform connects readiness and planning with training pathways and regional resources, giving visitors a next step after the assessment.
Execution and delivery
Lighthearts led the assessment architecture, scoring framework, interface implementation, and regional alignment. Built through Ben Williams’ Economic Recovery Corps fellowship in partnership with WESTMARC, the dashboard is the interactive component of the West Valley Technology Adoption Digital Report and is publicly available. It complements facilitated Tech Forward training with a self-directed path.
Current status
