Small businesses often struggle to assess their technology readiness, identify realistic priorities, and map out practical implementation steps.
Lighthearts’ solution
Lighthearts helped design an applied training program that connects a business’s current operations with technology choices, workforce preparation, and a practical implementation plan.
Begin with existing operations
The assessment brings workflows, software, information habits, and team capacity into the same conversation before participants choose a tool.
Turn priorities into a plan
Planning connects each proposed change to business goals, milestones, staff preparation, and the capacity to sustain it.
Connect learning with support
The program helps participants identify regional resources and potential implementation partners. Sector emphasis and follow-up support are defined with the host.
Execution and delivery
Lighthearts contributed program design, the readiness assessment framework, and implementation planning through Ben Williams’ Economic Recovery Corps fellowship embedded with WESTMARC. WESTMARC contracted The Canyons Group for the initial cohort. The engagement can be shaped with municipalities, chambers, and other business-support hosts around their participants’ needs.
